Green Slippers: natural fibres for the room, cork and straw for the spa
The slipper is the first item a guest touches in the suite and the last one left behind at check-out. This page shows which models we carry for the room and which for spa and pool, what each sole is made of, how the pairs are packed and how many fit in a case.
The sole says where the slipper belongs
With a slipper of natural fibre it is not the upper that decides where it is used, but the sole. We carry four soles, each with its place in the property.
Sugarcane
Light, firm and sure-footed on carpet and parquet. The sole for the room, the meeting room and the suite. Pinar, Palmira, Havanna and Camellia stand on it.
Cork
Springs when walking and takes moisture calmly. In the room as a sole under viscose and cotton (Taxus, Gallura), in the spa as a footbed or as a whole slipper (Corteccia).
Coconut fibre
Grippy and shape-retaining, with a surface you can see and feel. Babaco carries it under a soft viscose upper, for dry indoor areas.
Natural fibre with cardboard insert
Jute, cotton or viscose around a core of cardboard: the lightest construction. Goa, Terra and Lotus stand on the floor this way, Nature-Piquet with added studs against slipping.
Dry or wet: Sugarcane, coconut fibre and cardboard insert are built for dry floors. Where water stands on the floor, in the spa, by the sauna and at the pool, a model with cork or with a profiled sole from the wellness range belongs.

Colour: White, natural white or the fibre's own colour. The range is deliberately undyed, with jute and unbleached cotton that is the colour of the plant. A logo can be put on every model, the minimum quantity for it is stated on the item.
For spa and pool: cork and straw on a profiled sole
On wet stone the sole needs a profile and the footbed a material that tolerates moisture. Three constructions, seven models.
Three constructions
- All cork: Corteccia open and Corteccia Sandal, upper and 10 mm sole of cork.
- Cork footbed on EVA: Cork Sandal, Cork Pool Sandal and Cork Rio, 2 mm cork on an 8 mm profiled sole.
- Straw footbed on EVA: Bamboo, Bamboo Velcro, Bamboo Cross and Sandal Bamboo, bridge in suede look, 5 mm sole.
What the guest feels
- Cork gives slightly under the foot and does not get cold on the lounger.
- Straw feels dry even when the floor is not.
- The profiled sole holds on tiles, wooden deck and pool edge.
- Toe-post sandals and open shapes dry faster than a closed slipper.

EVA is a plastic. We write it because it is true: the profiled sole of the wellness models is made of EVA, the footbed of cork or straw. A property that wants to do without plastic in the spa altogether chooses Corteccia.
Packed without plastic, from the pair to the case
Every pair comes into the room individually packed, that is hygiene. How it is packed decides what ends up in the bin afterwards.
Paper bag
The room models come individually in a paper bag. It tears open without scissors, lies flat in the wardrobe and goes into the waste paper after unpacking.
Paper band
Corteccia, Cork Rio and the Bamboo models are held together by a band of paper. Less material than a bag, the pair stays visible.
Loop pin
Cork Sandal, Cork Pool Sandal and Sandal Bamboo are joined by a loop pin, the smallest fastener there is.
Flax tape
Corteccia Sandal is tied with a tape of flax. It comes undone without anything tearing.
In the case: The pairs lie in layers in the case, without inner film. The case is the unit for ordering, stock and transport, from two cases we deliver carriage paid.

All room models are unisex in 28.5 cm, Nature-Piquet also in 27.5 and 29.5 cm. In the spa, children's and ladies' lengths are added.

Sample in hand
A sample pack with the models that come into question. What you order, you have held before.
Count in cases
Rooms times arrivals per month gives the monthly demand, divided by the pairs per case the number of cases. The calculation is shown in the guide to calculating demand.
Order in the portal
Case price, minimum quantity and stock are stated on every item. Stock goods are in the property within a few days.
With logo: Every model can carry the property's logo. The minimum quantity for it differs by model and is stated on the item in the portal.

Three details are enough, then you receive a proposal with models and case numbers, with a sample pack on request.
Number of rooms and guest turnover
So that we count in cases instead of pairs.
