Bags and totes:
cotton, jute and paper in the room

Ten bags, three fabrics, one laundry

A bag of film is thrown away after one arrival, a bag of cotton washed after a hundred. This guide describes the bags and totes of the Green range, which weight belongs where, what they withstand in the laundry, what is printed on them and how the house gets its own logo onto them.

THREE FABRICS

Cotton, jute, paper

The fabric decides whether the bag is washed, brushed or disposed of after one stay.

WHICH BAG WHERE

Ten bags, ten places

Every bag has a place in the room, and most houses do not need all ten.

In the wardrobe

The laundry bag hangs on the hook or lies in the shelf, with the laundry list. The heavy one at 120 g per square metre for houses that keep and wash the bag; the light one at 70 g for houses that give it to the guest or count it as a consumable. On the wardrobe floor the shoe bag of 35 x 50 cm and the slipper bag of 20 x 35 cm.

In the bathroom

The hairdryer bag of 37 x 38 cm holds dryer and cable on the hook and spares housekeeping the winding up. The pouch of 21 x 22 cm takes the spare toilet roll, a detail guests remember.

On the top shelf

Pillow and blanket bag with zip, 65 x 85 cm and 65 x 85 x 25 cm, keep the second pillow and the blanket free of dust until they are needed. They replace the film both usually lie in.

For the spa: The cotton wellness bag is open and light, for towel and slippers on the way to the lounger. The jute bag is the heavier one with press stud and inner pocket, for houses that also give the bag to take out of the house.

What the bag withstands and what is on it

A bag of cotton is laundry. It runs with the towels, not with the residual waste.

Washing

Cotton at 60 degrees with the terry linen, pull the drawstring tight so it does not tangle. The heavy bag lasts many cycles, the light one fewer; both shrink slightly, which is why they are cut one size larger. Do not wash jute, shake it out and brush it, dab stains damp.

What is on the bag

The cotton bags carry the print of the range with the name of the bag, such as «Laundry bag». It is printed, not embroidered, and survives the wash. The paper bag carries the same print, the slipper bag from India its own.

The house's own logo

Screen print on cotton in one colour, two on request. The minimum quantity is stated on the item in the portal, as is the lead time: the bag is then printed specially, which takes some months. Those who want the logo plan it with the next order, not the current one.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about bags

What laundry and executive housekeepers ask about cotton bags.

Does the cotton bag shrink in the wash?+
A little, like all cotton. The bags are therefore cut somewhat larger than the size on the item promises; after the first washes it is right. At 60 degrees and without a tumble dryer at high temperature it stays that way.
Black or natural?+
Natural shows stains, black shows lint. For laundry bags that take soiled laundry, black is the easier choice; for shoe bags and slipper bags natural, because they lie in the wardrobe and suit the wood. Laundry bags and hairdryer bags come in both colours.
How many bags per room, and how much reserve?+
One laundry bag per room, one shoe bag, one slipper bag per guest, one hairdryer bag if the dryer is not wall-mounted, one pouch for the spare roll. Plus a fifth reserve, because bags travel with the guest and sit in the laundry.
Is the paper bag an alternative to the cotton bag?+
For houses without a laundry for bags, yes. It lasts one stay, goes with the laundry to the cleaner and does not come back. Those who have the laundry do better with cotton, because one bag lasts over a hundred arrivals.
Can the jute bag go in the wash?+
No, jute felts and loses its shape. Shake out, brush, dab stains damp, store dry. The inner pocket with zip takes key and card, which is why many houses also lend it out at reception.
