Three questions, three answers

Eighteen items, one surface, small cases
The line is thought in places, not in article numbers, and it is made to order. Three things worth knowing before the first order.
The surface
All eighteen items carry the same black, grained PU leather, with or without embossing. That is why the line can be introduced piece by piece: an item from the first series and one from the third look the same side by side. PU leather is a coated fabric, not leather; it says so on the landing page and on the product.
The cases
The line is packed in small cases: waste bin and brochure holder at 10, stationery box and tray with drawer at 20, guest folder at 30, tissue box at 40, menu holder at 80, writing folder and remote control holder at 100, bill folder at 200, coaster at 500. A hotel with 40 rooms therefore orders four cases of waste bins and two cases of guest folders, not forty pieces.
Made to order and delivery time
The items are made after ordering, with or without logo, with the same delivery time of around 117 days from order confirmation, as stated on every product. A hotel that wants the line in the house for the season orders four months ahead. One that wants to start straight away orders neutral and adds embossed items with the next series.

A word of honesty: The delivery time cannot be shortened, not even for a surcharge, because the line is not held in stock. Whoever orders today furnishes in January. That is the price of a surface that is still the same in two years.
From eighteen items to the list, in four steps
Not every room needs eighteen items. Four questions lead to the list, and for each there is a guide that answers it in full.
1. Which category is the room?
Six items in the standard room: desk blotter, guest folder, TV remote folder, tissue box, coaster, waste bin. Nine in superior, adding writing folder, menu holder and tray with recesses. Twelve and more in the suite, adding stationery box, tray with drawer, brochure holder, bill folder, shoehorn and clothes brush.
2. In which order do we convert?
First the three items every guest touches: guest folder, TV remote folder, tissue box. Then the desk, then the bathroom, finally the cloakroom. A hotel converting floor by floor finishes one floor completely before the next begins, so no room looks half converted.
3. With logo or neutral?
The embossing has a minimum quantity in cases per item: one case for coaster, bill folder, remote control holder and writing folder, two to five for most others, ten for waste bin and brochure holder. A hotel with 40 rooms embosses guest folder, desk blotter and TV folder and leaves coaster and waste bin neutral. Three embossed items per room carry the signature.
4. How many cases?
Rooms divided by pieces per case, rounded up, plus one case in reserve for the items the guest touches most often. For 60 rooms that means two cases of guest folders, one case of desk blotters, two cases of TV folders, two cases of tissue boxes, six cases of waste bins and one case of coasters for years.

The inserts
The guest folder is not an archive: three to five A4 sheets in clear sleeves, greeting and extensions on the first, Wi-Fi and technology on the second, hotel and surroundings on the rest. The menu holder carries one sheet printed on both sides, the writing folder letterhead, envelope and pen. The sheet is exchanged, not the sleeve, with a small date at the bottom right.
One room as a sample: A hotel using the line for the first time equips one room with the six items of the standard room, neutral, from the current series. Four months later the embossed items arrive for all rooms, and until then the sample room shows whether desk, bathroom and housekeeping suit the line.
