Choosing guest accessories correctly
A clothes hanger is handled a thousand times in ten years, a swimming cap once. Both belong to the room equipment, both are bought differently: in pieces per room or in cases per arrival. This guide leads from the range to the list of one hotel, place by place.
Three questions, three answers
Each guide answers one question from the daily practice of housekeepers and buyers. Amenities in paper sachets, slippers and terry towels have their own guides; here it is about hangers, bags, dishes and the classics in film.

Wood and cotton or Classic: two kinds, one room
Guest accessories come in two kinds. One is made of cotton, jute, wood and paper and stays in the room, the Classic items of film, polyester and plastic leave with the guest. Most hotels carry both, each in the place where it belongs.
Guest accessories of cotton, jute, wood and paper
The bags of cotton with 120 or 70 g per square metre, washable at 60 degrees with the terry towels, the jute bag for spa and pool, the paper laundry bag for hotels without their own laundry for bags. Plus the wooden hangers in wood, beech and black, all 44 x 23 x 1.2 cm, with hook, ring or clip bar. What the guest touches is fibre or wood, and what he takes along is counted as a giveaway.
Classic guest accessories: the classics in film
Shower cap, standard vanity kit, sleep mask, sewing kit, nail file, dental floss pick, swimming cap, hygiene bag box and umbrella. Individually packed, in the largest cases of the range, 1,000 to 5,000 per case, with inner packs of 100 to 1,000 for the trolley. Plus the sets for serviced apartments with washing-up liquid, sponge and cleaner for the first night.
What is the same in both ranges
The size of the hangers, the print of the range on the bags, the rule for laying out and handing over, and the way from the case via the inner pack to the trolley. And the honesty on the product page: polyester for the sleep mask, PLA or film for the wrapper, metal for the ring are listed in the portal as properties, just like the fabric for the bag.

A word of honesty: A bag of cotton is only the better choice if the hotel washes it or counts it as a giveaway. A hotel that wants neither takes the paper bag or stays with film, and says so.
From the range to the room list, in four steps
A hotel rarely needs more than two hangers, three bags and five classics. Four questions lead there, and for each there is a guide that answers it in full.
1. Is the clothes rail fixed?
Firmly screwed in: hangers with hook, bar or clip bar; the hook is removable, which is no disadvantage in the wardrobe. Removable or newly fitted: hangers with theft protection; the ball head hangs in a closed ring that is threaded onto the rail before fitting. Measure the rail before ordering: the metal ring fits up to 3.8 cm, the plastic one up to 3.5 cm.
2. Does the hotel wash its bags?
Yes, with the terry towels: cotton of 120 g, many cycles, cut one size larger because it shrinks. No, the bag leaves with the guest: cotton of 70 g as a giveaway. Neither: the laundry bag of paper, one stay, then off with the laundry to the cleaners.
3. Lay out or hand over?
What almost every guest needs is laid out: shower cap and vanity kit in the bathroom, in the suite the sleep mask on the pillow. What one guest in ten needs, reception hands over: sewing kit, nail file, dental floss, swimming cap, umbrella. The most expensive disposable item is the one cleared away unopened.
4. How many per room, how many per month?
Hangers and bags are counted per room: six to eight hangers in the double room, two of them with clip bar, ten to twelve in the suite, plus a fifth in reserve in the store. One laundry bag, one shoe bag, one hairdryer bag per room, plus reserve for the wash. The classics are counted per arrival: rooms times arrivals per month, for handed-over items a tenth of that, divided by the pieces per case.

The hotel's logo
Screen print on cotton in one colour, two on request; the minimum quantity is stated on the product page in the portal. The bag is then printed specially, which takes a few months, so the logo belongs to the next order, not the current one. On the wooden hanger a print on the bar is possible, as a reminder that the hanger belongs to the hotel.
One room as a sample: A hotel using the range for the first time orders one hanger with hook and one with ring, the heavy and the light laundry bag and the three classics it wants to lay out. One room shows within a week whether rail, laundry and housekeeping fit together.
